Scorpion on Ebay
 

Could be a good repower canidate if it goes cheap enough. I always liked the look of the Scorpion and believe it is a Ray Hunt design like our V-20's.

They are nice hulls Mulv, I have seen a couple around by me that I thought were V's until I literally were up close. One fellow had a similar boat I spoke to with I/O and was the original owner and said he just repowered it this past year. Loved the boat.
I would be very concerned about this one though. Too long sitting in the water with no care, I could pretty much guarentee you water intrusion into the hull and transom.

I don't want to change my V-20 for a Scorpion but are the hulls really the same ???

The one I looked at was slightly different, and did not have as much flair at the bow, close though

I thought the Scorpion looked like it had a sharper entry. Also the hull slopes higher from back to front than I believe the V-20 does.

I'd have to say the Scorpion loks better. I don't think it has that big rounded nose like a V-20 either.
