1993 V21 FOR SALE. Long Island, NY

5 Attachment(s)
Hello All,

For sale is my 1993 V21. I bought it last year from my father's friend who had it in his yard and never used it. I ran it a handful of times last season at it ran beautifully. The boat is in good shape and the transom is solid, no soft spots and no mechanical/structural issues at all. It has a bimini top, two brand new marine batteries (I had to put them in when I bought it) with selector switch, a live well, fish storage hatch, and a really nice optional rear bench seat. I have all the seats except the fold down seat that covers the fish hatch, but most people choose to put another Captain's chair there as the fold down covers over the hatch. It also comes with a brand new RAYCOR fuel separator still in box.

Here's what it needs:

Vinyl on seats.
Depth finder/sounder.
Bottom Paint.
Fuel Guage (I have a brand new sending unit in the box, but most new Finders have a fuel/speed option anyway)
A good compound and waxing.

Call me or p.m me and I'll answer any questions you might have.

$5,500

Nice looking boat....love the room those V-21's have without the splashwell....good luck withe sale...not that I'm buying one anytime soon but is there a trailer included?

There is no trailer with the boat, I bought it siting in the water. Thanks for asking, I should have mentioned that in the ad.

Nice boat. What year is the motor and do you know how many hours are on it?

Its a 1993 motor. I asked the previous owner (he works with my father) about the hours and he just told me "Brian, I never ever used that thing" He told me his son took it out a few times but nothing really to speak of after that I think it just sat there year after year at his house. when I bought it I threw two new batteries in it and had a mechanic tune up the engine and clean out the carbs. I remember him telling me that beneath the beat up cowl was a perfect engine. I put about 10 or so hours on it last year. Don't know if this answers your question but it's all I have right now. Is there a better way for me to determine engine hours? There's no gauge for it on the boat. Hope this helps.

I think you've described the time on the motor very well...If I had a spare 5 Gs and a trailer, I'd come get it right now...

Thanks reel. I was really looking forward to this season but my wife asked if i would sell it because we are having our third kid in August. She says she has no intention of being on the boat this year, which I understand. I have a feeling that in a couple of years I will be looking for the exact same boat again and will be kicking myself, but for now I could use the cash with a growing family. I figured I'd put it here first in case anyone wanted it. I figure ill try my luck on craigslist soon.
