3.7 vs outboard
 
surely there must be someone out there that could say what the 3.7 comes in par with a outbaord same power as a 115 4stroke someone must of raced one with a mates outboard ???????????????????????????????????

wtf i have been reday since 900am its 12.30 now still waiting for the wife i can hear the vacum cleaner going wtf is this what its like to have a family boat i may rename it to my boat and leave at 900 next time

Yes actually I've seen the 3.7 versus twin 70 Evinrudes, no race, the 3.7 was over 5 mph faster. It was similar in speed to a 140 2 stroke, not quite up with the 150's. All on V20's, they were the most popular hull around here in the 70's and early 80's.

ok thanks thats interesting to noalot f my mates have gone to 4 stroke outboards 140s well i hope my boat will blow them out of the water after my rebuild they got 19 ft half cabs
