While I don't think he'll get asking price, 9-10g's sounds fair. Gees, lets not devaluize our boats. ;) |
Re: nice one in NC
I agree Tin, even though you would expect to take a loss on accessories you add to a boat, when you update one of these V's that has a solid transom and hull with new or newer low hour engines, important equipment new canvass, brackets expensive electronics and a new trailer you have a boat you could not touch new for under 45K. And it has a better hull than a lot of the new ones.
If what you want or need is a small cuddy a boat like that updated is worth more than 5-6k. |
Re: nice one in NC
I've got $15,500 in my '94 V-21 with a brand new motor.
At the time, it too had: - new 2005 trailer - older 9.9 kicker and new kicker bracket - new washdown - new Yamaha oil tank - new controls - new awlgrip paint on exterior - new rub rail - new hatches - new starboard swimstep - list goes on So, that said, I think the price is too high. I think 9 g's would be ballpark, give or take a grand. Now if that Zuki was a four stroke, you might expect to get a lil more. Blue's .02 |
Re: nice one in NC
He says he needs to sell so he can get a larger boat...he must not be in much of a hurry to be in that larger boat ::) ...
...lives in the denial of thinkin' he'll get every dime back that he ever put in it ;) :-/ ... |
Re: nice one in NC
Ask $8500, hope for $7500.
