1988 Wellcraft 25 Sportsman, similar hull to the V-20?

I have seen a V-23 once but did the family of hulls extend to the 25 Sportsman?

thanks, Rob

no the 250 is basically the same hull as a Mako 254 and the 248

A bigger version of the V-20 does exist, but is rare and wasn't built by WELLCRAFT. The DUSKY 203, 233, and 256 are all built on the same basic hull form as the V-20 with the moderate deadrise aft, sharp entry forward, and a large bow flare to knock the spray down. Also the older ANACAPRI's were built on the same basic hull form as the V-20 in a 24 footer(later model ANACAPRI's are builto n teh FORMULA 233 hull mold though).

Skools you look a little rear end heavy on that trailer. With my luck that thing would fishtail all over the road.

Thank you gentlemen. SkoolsOut, is the 250 the same as the 25 Sportsman? How's the ride on these hulls?

The 248 and 250 from 81 up to about 95 were all the same basic hull design from teh cap down.
