 Oregon Inlet Fishing Sat 01/15
We left Suffolk Va. around 5 pm pulling the boat to Nags Head and seemed to be the only people on the road. When we made it to the ramp to our surprise there was a cop directing traffic and about 50 boats in tow. The cop got us in line and said it was moving pretty quick. Well he was right and we were only in line for about 40min max. We ran around to the Wright Brother Memorial where we found another 100 some boats. I notice a few charter fishing a tight area and dropped in right behind them. Within a few minutes we had two lines go off and we managed to get both striper's into the boat. Got all the lines back over and within 15min we had another double knock down and managed to get both of them in the boat. We fished for another hour with a few more that we tossed back and headed home. I was back in Va in time to watch the kick off for the early game on Saturday. I'll post a few picks tonight. The fish went from 36" to 40" and all were nice and fat. |
