omc 60 degree flywheel puller

Has anyone come up with a inexpensive OMC flywheel puller for a 60 degree engine?

Is there a problem using a big screwdriver, the flywheel nut and a brass hammer?
Remove the nut till the top of the nut is even with the top of the threads on the crank, lightly pry the flywheel from a prominent location off the block, whack with the brass hammer on the top of the crank/flywheel nut. First time you do it and it releases you might piss on yourself.
Sorry if this is a redneck solution, but it's all I got.

Truthfully, that's exactly the way I do it also... just MAKE SURE that the top of the nut is even with the top of the shaft.. the idea here is to not damage the threads, just impart a shock that will cause the shaft to seperate from the flywheel. You don't need a ton of pry force either... place the screwdriver carefully so you don't damage any electrical components under the flywheel. Push down on the screwdriver and give the top of the nut a good ol' hefty wack. Theflywheel should pop right up
