Re: Cheap V-20 project
It is a nice looking V, just a long way from me.

Re: Cheap V-20 project
after the 70's the floors all high!
My boat (75) has no flotation, and if was to go down it would not stop till it got to the bottom! They raised the deck, later to make room for the flotation. |
Re: Cheap V-20 project
Floatation good, sinking bad.
What year did they start with the foam? |
Re: Cheap V-20 project
Not sure?? I want to say 77 or 78 But defiantly anything 80 and up has it!
|
Re: Cheap V-20 project
My 79 doesnt have any foam. It makes for a loud ride in chop but I also attribute my solid floor and stringers in a 27 year old boat to the lack of foam.

Re: Cheap V-20 project
If people would keep the front of their boats jacked up, that wouldn't be as big an issue.
It kills me to see a boat sitting in a yard uncovered with the bow on the ground. I want to stop and prop em up. |
Re: Cheap V-20 project
My 78 has foam under the floor.
