I'm actually just north of FL in Dothan, Alabama, but I bought it in FL. I am getting ready to dig out the bimini that came on it and see how bad of shape it is in. That vinyl does get scorching hot! Thank god for towels!

Be back in a few, digging out the bimini top! I almost forgot I still had it I've been so occupied with fixing everything else.

Awesome restoration!! I love the airslot design. Always have. Many times I've thought about getting a 24' WA, but really it's too big for just one person...

Great job...Well Done!!!

Saxrulez,

Where did you get the seat cushions for the front and back of the boat? I have a 1971 Airslot 185 Sport and all the seats are missing. If I can't locate some I will just have to make them I am afraid. Please let me know, thanks! BTW: You did a GREAT JOB! I hope my boat looks as good as that in the next month. Just knowing someone else did it gives me hope...LOL

I had to make all of them. If you look closely the seats cushions in the back didn't come out exactly as I planned so they stick up above the cap about one inch. I didn't prepare for the seat cushion thickness so the backs ended up a bit higher than originally planned.

Making the seats and such wasn't difficult at all. It's pretty common to have to do since the wood is usually rotted in these after 40 years :P
