Real Names Hi everyone! I am a fairly new member of this forum, and just got my second V20. I really appreciate all of the help and support I have received, and hope to return the same to others on an ongoing basis. My only problem is that when responding to answers from members it is awkward at best to respond to a screen name instead of a real name (e.g. reodds vs Roger). My suggestion is to put your "real name" into your signature. That way when responding to an individual directly, you can call them by name. Not only would that be easier, but it would make communications friendlier! This is a fantastic forum. Just thought this might make it even better! Please call me... |

I don't want these crazy Snaggers to know my real name. Heck a bunch already do and I am scheming to have them bumped off. Especially the South Carolina contingent |

yeah, i'm thinking of going to something a bit more formal. just call me 'sir', or 'his majesty the tuna.' hmmm..... how about 'that standoffish guy, the tuna?' or, 'he's a real a$$hole, the tuna?' 'the really goodlooking guy, the tuna?' |

My real name IS Blue Runner....and I have a fishing problem. |

Welcome aboard and congrats on your V20 purchase. I think I will stay incognito with MJ living so close to me. I think he has been having some "temper" issues.:you: |

There is a certain amount of "FUN" involved with the screen names, also, some have more meaning than the obvious, but don't let it throw you, have fun with it!!:beer: Welcome aboard!!! |

Hi Roger, As Rabbitfish said, there is allot of fun with the names, and I think the old timers here will want to keep on calling each other "stinky", "chumbucket" etc (two of my favorites). Check out this thread: http://www.wellcraftv20.com/communit...ghlight=Handle I checked and it doesn't look like you can change your screen name. Maybe you could pay MJ to change it, try a new account or edit your signature to be "please call me Roger". rkc |

When I was in the Navy I initially served aboard a Destroyer (USS Basilone DD824) So when I started using a screen name I called myself Destroyerman. But that was too long for a number of sites that only allowed you a certain amount of letters in your name, so I shortened it to Destroyer. Even though it was a while ago I'm proud of my service, so I keep the name. I'm partial to "Your Lordship" however, if you'd prefer to call me something else. |
