Wanted: V20 in/near VA Hey there, I'm looking for a older V20 in Virginia or surrounding areas. Preferably a project (missing motor, bad transom, etc) because I don't have much money but If your trying to get rid of one in good condition, that works too! I have a Glassmaster 18' speedboat with an inline Merc 115 in great condition if you're interested in a trade. Contact: PM 804-385-1751 [email protected] Thank you, MJK |

Mines not really a project but its for sale for $3800. If you are serious then I will let it go for $3500 as a forum discount. I'm in Fredericksburg but I will travel if necessary. http://fredericksburg.craigslist.org...663197771.html |

Thank you but thats a bit pricy for me I only have about 2500$ to spend. Great lookin boat though :) |

Thanks man. I would love to lower the price, I think its a little high myself, but I have to get at least 3500 to pay off the loan. I've only had the boat for about 9 months but I have to get rid of it now. If I had my druthers I'd keep it, but I won't have a place to store it when I move and the wife is prego. Good luck in your search, and I'll keep my eye out for one. |

http://richmond.craigslist.org/boa/1678013548.html This thing looks rough but would be a good project. Offer him $700 spend a few more on repairs and you still have $1500 for a motor. Not a bad deal if you don't mind the work. |

I don't mind the work at all I've been lookin at this one. I have a '72 100hp rude sittin around, but I think that would be underpowered on that rig. I'm selling my other boat right now which will hopefully give me some $ to play around with. |

Yeah 100 would be a little light, unless you found another and did a dual setup. I've never seen one like that and I'm not sure if its possible but that would be pretty sweet. If it's got a bad transom already, why not fab a new one that could accomodate 2. |

Sure would be cool to see a V with twin 85-115 outboards on it! |

Hey USMMA, my father, rest his soul, served thru WWII as a Merchant Marine and worked as a Marine Engineer for the rest of his life, graduated Kings Point. |

Wow!! I can't say how much I respect the Merchant Mariners who served in WWII. I still can't believe how much of a fight theyve had to put up to achieve veteran status...they were just as much a part of the war effort as the guys on the ground but not many people realize what a big part they played. I'm just a fourth classmen (freshmen) but I will be majoring in Marine Engineering Systems as well! nipper...I like the sound of that...maybe twin 115hp inline mercs :) Guy just informed me he sold it today for 500$...oh well, there will be more! |
