Club Cadet

Okay guys I have the opportunity to get this Club Cadet for free. I know nothing about these things or it. Looks in good shape. Belt that turns blades keeps popping off. Don't know what it will cost me to get it cutting, but it starts right up. No grass catcher. Do they make them for this age tractor?
I don't know the year but posted the vin if someone knows how to decipher it.

My other option is a 2002 John Deere Sabre with grass catcher, he said it is a 32" deck but that seems small, 14.5 horse. $500. Belongs to my cousin who is a neat freak and takes good care of his stuff.

I'd get the cub cadet. It probably won't cost 500 to have it running the way you want.

I'd get the Cadet and give it to Skools for a month.

yeah i'd like to restore it too, that's a Kohler 10 hp with cast iron block and deep oil pan style. great motor will out last you in years. parts aren't hard to get go to www.agrisupply.com they will have them.

skool can you give me any other info on this thing from the pics or do i need to look for more tags with numbers on it? Seems in descent shape to me. i will take more pics if needed. How about a grass catcher?

I have an old Internation Harvester Cub Cadet 1450. Strongest machine I have ever looked at. I have uprooted trees with the old machine. If you go the route of the Cub Cadet and you take care of it it will last you the rest of your life.

Also the sticker is just for the motor. The vin for the tractor is a plate riveted on the frame.

get us a few more pics and it is a strong machine not as tough as a gravely but well built. if it's free you better take it while it's still avail.
