Resin good or bad ?

wondering if West system 105 resin and 205 hardener is ok after being in my freezing garage all winter? I live in New York. Thanks

I will say dump it, For me it will be to risky to work with it because resin must be kept in a control environment at all times, Freezing is not good so is excessive heat.

should be fine. test a small batch and see what happens.

should be fine i keep my resin in a pepsi refer in my shop year round so it won't go bad if it is kept cool like in a refer. it will be fine. just let it get up to room temp before mixing or using.

agree with skools on letting it warm up to room temp,

I DO NOT recommend warming it in a microwave prior to mixing, unless you want it to kick in about 5 seconds.

another life lesson i learned the hard way....

actually...I warm up half a cup or so in the microwave with good result.
Just stop it after 7-8 seconds. makes stirring and application much better.

Cuz i was to lazy to put it in the house to warm up first.

I had some Raka epoxy in my unheated garage that was at least 10 years old and had gone thru many winter deep-freeze cycles. The resin showed som crystalization near the bottom of a gallon jug. On someones advise I warmed it in a hot water bath and the crystals disappeared. Used it with no problems after that.
