Weber grills

I know there hae been one or two threads about grills before but I wanted to throw this out there. I have a Weber Genesis Gold from about 2002. The black porcelain lid had developed a couple of small rust spots...It is supposed to have a 25 year warranty. I just called Weber and told them about and and they are sending me a new one, no questions asked. Then I was going to order a new drip tray holder and the guy said, no problem, we'll include that for free as a courtesy.

A great American company who makes a great product and stands behind it.

That's exactly why I bought one 4 years ago. The guy who sold it to me said that it would probably be the last grill I would buy. He was right. Besides, anyone that owns one will tell you, they cook like an oven, and not so much like a grill. I'm sold...:nice:

Got me a couple of propane webers. One my brother in law gave me because he said it didn't work. New propane bottle and booyah! I installed that one into an outdoor kitchen setup on my deck with a sink and cabinets. Found another one on the side of the road, only had been used a few times. Gonna put that one on the front deck of the future pontoon house boat. I love free stuff. :sun:

I got a genesis on my deck. Works great! It doesn't mind looking a little dirty like an all stainless steel would.
