Kev he is in CT, can you get to it to check compression?
I know they are good reliable motors from what other fellows have said, I never owned one that big hp wise.
I do know they are rather thirsty beasts though.

The auction was ending within a day so I didn't really have time. At the time, the price was pretty low so I was just eyeing it. I am not really looking for a new motor but always keeping my eyes out for a deal.

The price went up a lot in the last hour....still maybe a good deal but not without checking it out in person.

Smart move I would think
