I hope to be posting pics later!:sun: |
how'd you make out??? I found a sea Bass recipe on line that I cooked last week that was good....kind of gay with Mango and Macadamia nuts but I got to dress my fish up some if I want my family to eat any.

no good
One of the worst fishing days ever,,,,couldn't get anchored. Wave forcast was alittle off?!!!?!?!?!
Gonna try and dig some oysters in a new place I found Sunday, maybe this weekend will be better! Try this: Scale, head and gut the black sea bass,,,dry it with a paper towel and set aside Julienne a mix of veggies(onions, peppers, zucc and squash) and keep them long like spagetti Dress the veggie mix with olive oil and fresh thyme, salt and pepper Get a roll of parchment paper pull off a big square Make a mound of veges in the center Season the fish well just before placing on top of veges. Drizzle over a little white wine and add a pat of butter and thin slice of lemon or orange. Fold over the parchment paper and crimp the edges to seal. You can make these in bulk ahead of time and refrigerate for a short period of time. Bake on 375 for 30 min or put them on foil covered grill outside. |
Sounds delish FWB. Now if I only had some BSB!!

This is an old culinary school favorite that is easy and good when you have people coming over. You can modify it a bunch of different ways and use different fish.

I would say I'd try it with some crappie soon. BUUUUUUUUT, (to the tune of Zach Brown's "Chicken Fried") You know I like my crappie fried....:fam:

Hey FWB - got on some nice BSB's on Friday from 13 - 17.5 inches. They all got double filleted and fried up on Saturday night. Fed 15 hungry people! Had 20 keepers on Friday, went again Sunday and only had 5.
Fished 60 - 100 ft. |
