Cows

Think about this:

1. Cows

2. The Constitution

3. The Ten Commandments

------------------------------------------------------------------------

COWS

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing
that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track
a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right
to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington ?
And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are
unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around
our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow..

------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE CONSTITUTION

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for
Iraq ... Why don't we just give them ours? It was
written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for
over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS

The real reason that we can't have the Ten
Commandments posted in a courthouse or Congress is this --
you cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal' 'Thou
Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and 'Thou Shall Not
Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and
politicians .... it creates a hostile work environment.

Not being an American myself, I always wonder what is the difference between Democrats and Republicans. I hear those terms in the news all the time. I understand they are the two mayor political parties in the U.S.A., but can you guys describe them in two simple sentences for an average inteligence foreigner to understand;

DEMOCRAT=...

REPUBLICAN=...

No more than 10 words each please.

I do believe you guys ALL get along and drink together on election day, right ?

republican vs. democrat

Lets say that our neighbor who is hungry needs our help to feed his family. Regardless if we are Republican or Democrat we would agree that we should help. As a Democrat the solution will be to have the government spend our money to give our neighbor a fish, feeding him, but making him reliant on the government to survive. As a Republican we would spend our money to teach our neighbor to fish, also feeding him, but making him self reliant. Often the difference between the two is not the goal, but the method.

That's more than 10 words each isn't it?

And yes I have both Republican and Democratic friends. We drink together because we are Americans first and Republicans or Democrats second.

democrats believe they are owed something, whether its right or not
republicans believe they have earned something whether its right or not
I believe I'm pissed at both of them for taking my money I earn and pay in taxes for what they belive and doing nothing but providing for their own self intrest in government

That's easy...

DEMOCRATS screw you from the LEFT...

REPUBLICANS srew you from the RIGHT...

Actually we screw ourselves, every four to six years.

One of the reasons the old and purchased media outlets are hammering the independents and the tea party people and trying to demonize them is they are scared that the Independant voice will be heard this November.

For our country's sake, for our sake, I hope that it happens in a HUGE way.
One massive turn over this November will send chills down every Progressives back side.

Boy do we need it.
