Hey Chumboucket
Thats cool, even has the receipt from 1957.
I have a sweet old one myself, great reels, thought Bob was into these too.
I don't have a Squidder, but I have several old Senator 4/0's, 6/0's , #9's, 209's and even a 309.
Still fish with some of em. |
Me too, I have the same old Penn reel my Dad bought me from Two Guys when I was 8 years old to fish at Lake Hopatcong when we used to go for family picnics
I do like the old Squidders. I saw that one on there willy. He was originally asking $175. Too much dough for that reel even though that one is a fine specimen. I have a couple retired ones. I like the Newell's better though. Faster retrieve that the squidder and more refined.
Thanks for thinking of me though brother. |
I am here for you man
I thought you might be lonely without the Wind Talker to console you LOL |
It's a much needed vacation for me and BS.:time:
I understand:fam:
I have an old squidder exactly like that except has the green knob. I bought it on eBay. It did not have a good picture so I practically stole it for $24 which included shipping. I caught my first king mack on it ~ 25 lbs and pulled in a few stripers as well. Nice reels.
