Nav lights
Looking at maybe buying a set of these. Alot cheaper then West Marine at 89 bucks. But it states that it needs a 3/4 hole for mounting. I can see why, but wondering if you ever have to replace the bulb, you change it from the underside or top side. Reason I ask is that I think I'll do the same that REEL did and mount them on top of a piece of starboard.

Re: Nav lights
Hammer...those look good...can't be sure about those, but mine allow bulb change from the top ;) ... I bet those do, too :D ...

Re: Nav lights
No I don't think those would be to hot, I've seen them before and you do need a 3/4 " hole for the housing itself. Not very practical (smart).

Re: Nav lights
I just ordered these, they go on the side of boat, not bow

Re: Nav lights
Maybe thats the top secret project we heard so much about ???
|
Re: Nav lights
Nope thats not the secret!! ;)
The truth on the bilge pump is there is no room for one!!, I added a 25 gal tank o that hole and I can't fit anything ?? Thats why I asked some time ago if anyone knew if one of the wash down pumps are self priming from like 12", I could mount that out side the hole and use it as a bilge pump?? I might try something this summer?? But I have not had one now in years so its not to important to me at this point ;D |
