lumber, you need to be ***** slapped with a handfull of squid.
I'm repairing everything in the yard, on the house, at work, on our childs auto, lending what hand to Daddy I can on a boat project or while he is getting another truck driveable for my brother,.....all in the middle of the season of fish just begging to be caught. And I have the excuse, I'm too busy to put the boat in for fixing stuff ahead of the boat and you are spending your vacation teaking up the boat!

lumber, as always, that looks great!!

Jealousy is a sin.

Again, and honestly, it looks great!

:you:lol ...... believe it or not it was like theraphy and I even enjoyed it ...haha I fished yesterday and it was blowing north east at 10-15 and had caught the tide going out and the drift was too fast and couldnt hold bottom for sh!t, so it was work on the boat or the house and Ive been doing that for 28 yrs and its still not done....

Great job! Teak looks beautiful when done correctly. I'm jealous, my idea of redoing the teak last fall was pouring cleaning stuff on it.

Your work is sweet. Definitely a craftsman.

Now I can't even show my wife your handy work or she will be jealous of the pool. Nice!

What are you using for a sealer? just oil or something more significant? I've heard the natural oils in teak make it hard to varnish.

Never mind, I just saw your post about Starbrite. It sure looks like a great finished result!

I love this stuff its classic teak sealer I,ve used a few different ones and I prefer this the best.

Thanks for the compliments

for goodness sake Lumber!!, would you clean that pool!!.....I used a product called Armada in a satin finish.Gettin toward the end of three seasons w/ it and it still looks good. I made new "rails" for the sliding hatch out of ipe and capped the top of the splashwell in ipe as well. The rest of the wood is the original teak and the Armada is holding up pretty good. [the boat is covered 95% of the time when not in use, so that helps] The teak that doesn't get alot of direct sunlight, like the glovebox, or the trim around the rod holder boxes or the frame of the cuddy door, looks like I refinished last week, not three years ago. Nice work Kenny!
