Rey, I'd suggest you ask here: http://www.thehulltruth.com/ I don't recall anybody here mentioning Naples..let us know what ya find out... |
Thanks Reel. Repowering is slowly coming down to either Cumberland WaterSports in Tenn or The Boat Place in FL. Just trying to do some research first.

Good luck in your quest...keep us posted on your progress and you know we LOVE pictures and especially of something unusual like you are doing... |
I'm gettting some good feedback from the other website. Once repowered, I'll post some pics, but I'm sure it's nothing really new. :) I do plan to put a jack plate and go with the 25" shaft.
Thanks, Rey |
Good choice on the 25", I wish I had done that in 2003.

And I should have thought of it in '04  |
I'm striking out here :( Ready to pull the trigger on a '09 DF140 but the 2 dealers I had in mind (ITG Marine and The Boat Place) no longer have them in stock. Their quotes are basically the same at around $10,400 shipped to San Diego. That includes rigging equipment as well. Add another grand and I was looking at around $11400 installed...
with a 6yr warranty. The Boat Place had a DF150 for another $100 but it was 60lbs heaver than the DF140 which put it at 480lbs. I prefer not to go heavier than the DF140(421lbs). 6yr warranty promotion ends tomorrow. I guess I'll have to wait until it shows up again but it'll probably be for the 2010 motors which will mean more $$...bummer. |
