Bored at home last 2 weekends !
I found a GayLiner swim platform and install it , No worries I buff the name off :)
I added the top rail support because I wanted to keep the bottom clean for future trim tabs ! http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...m/DSCF0021.jpg http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...m/DSCF0022.jpg http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...m/DSCF0023.jpg http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...m/DSCF0025.jpg Next Project ? Working on the anchor platform ! Here is a peek http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/c...m/DSCF0014.jpg |
Looks great, we won't tell anybody where it came from. :fam:
I have about 10 projects in my to-do list. One is the anchor pulpit. I've been putting most of them off intentionally because I only have a little shed and its so crammed full of junk I don't think I could find the tools I need. |
nice job:clap:

Looks good. Does your motor have full turn with the rail on the inside? Some boats don't and it's typically recommended that the rail go to the outside. Looks like you might be okay though.

WOW!!...that looks great...what BL lost in boat design, they sure made up for on their swim platforms..that looks GREAT...GOOD JOB...:nice:

Nice, What do you have in mind for that bow pulpit? I think it won't look good on your boat. Want to sell it? Honestly, What material is it?
Did you make it or buy it? The swim step looks great. I have tabs on mine and I think you may run into an issue with the placement of those stern eyes. I mounted my stern eyes higher and farther out but mine are less useful in tying the boat to the trailer. Is there an underlying reason you want tabs on yours? Thanks, Vic |

Its made from 2 pieces of 3/3 plywood matted together will mat extras from my transom project, then two coats of resin, sanded and gel coated..Yet to be buffed out ..(gives it the mirror shine) As for a price I am really considering a business on Ebay after seeing some of the ridiculous asking price .. As for Trim Tabs base on blogs here one must have em .. |
that looks awsome......

Trim tabs are not nearly as important with this hull as with others. I currently have a 23 Outrage that is a leaning pig without them. Prior to it I had a 22' Pursuit that needed them as well. The V-20 not so much. It wasn't necessary on my V20 CC but I heard the same thing. It is nice if your boat isn't loaded evenly or you want the nose in a little more to knock down some chop. I was just curious. Great work.. The link was nice. Starboard is very durable and they did a great job. Yours looks cleaner. On a lighter side, I sell lumber and I don't have any 3/3 ply. I just wonder if it is something that would sell. Lord knows we need something that sells. You might have meant 3/4" or 1" (as written) :-) I too need a pulpit to keep the chain off the new paint. Found a glass one out of Clearwater but it was high $$$ Looked into putting the long stainless anchor roller without the pulpit but not enough clearance. The anchor would be hitting the hull. Keep us posted and nice pictures.. |
