nice bracket project
that looks like a v-6 sea drive, i would love to have one that is mint cond.
that thing ought to fly with teh V6 seadrive, when we were selling them, they only offered it in a 225 hp, they jumped form the 140 V4 to the 225 V6(one of many reasons they didn't sell well). those were neat installations, with the hydraulic steering
Has the ever elusive rear bench seat too.
Anyone have some good pictures of this elusive bench seat?
Ahhh, the bench seat I also wanted.
That one has a 175HP SEA-DRIVE on it. They are rare, but a few are out there floating around. You can tell from the pics that it is a bubble back cross-flow V-6 with a 35 amp charging system. Makes it an 86+ 175HP(there were a few 35 amp charging systems before then, but not many).
that makes sense since we didn't start selling them till 90, that was one of the biggest problems with selling those things, we were a proline dealer, the 20 had a 115 seadrive, the 21(deep V) needed a 175-200, but the only thing we could offer was a 140(V4 looper), it wasn't rated for a 225. That 21 should have been our best seller, instead, it was a dog with the V4, just too much boat for that small hp

Soft spots
Well, I finally figured out what caused the soft spots in my floor. It was the floor mounts for the "elusive bench seat".
