1978 v-20 johnson vro 175

Hi All, first post here. I need some help. I want to buy this 1978 v-20 with johnson 175 vro, the fuel is premix in the tank the helm seat is a little
wobbley at the floor, not too bad, and the transom has a stainless steel plate on the outside for support. The trailer is 2004 continental tandem in very good condition. Other than the helm chair and the transom it looks real good. is it worth $3500??

What year is the motor? That stainless steel plate may be hiding a bad transom.

Hey jnielsen, check out the V listed in South Jersey for $2500. Looks like a nice one.

More like screaming that it has a bad transom i think. You can find a better boat for that money in this economy.
