Vacation!
 

Sunday when I get off work I'll be yankin the V ta Nags Head for a week of relaxation, fishin and family fun. If any of you come down the beach road, I'll be stayin about 12-13 cottages south of the Avalon Pier right on the beach. You'll see my V hooked to my Tacoma under the cottage. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood! I'll probley put it out at Oregon Inlet and try ta catch some keeper flounder , blues and spanish. I fished there last weekend and caught about 15 flounder but all were undersized. They gotta be 15 1/2 in.to keep em!

Got back Sunday, had a great time! All my 3 kids came down Wed and brought my grandkids. We took the V down to Pirates Cove and put it in and fished the inlet and sound. We caught some croakers and blues, but no flounder. I fished the surf around the Avalon Pier but only caught skates. My daughters boyfriend Matt works at Whalebone Tackle on the causeway and supplied me with fresh bait. I taught the wife a new game called the pirate and the slave girl, ha ha. She liked it!! The weather couldnt have been better. Overall we had an excellent vacation. Cant wait to go back! :party:
