But I have to tell you guys I washed and waxed the boat for the past two and a half days. And I think if I didnt she would look like crap in no time, This season Im park next to another V and it looks like its never seen a scrub brush and the gelcoat is yellowing. Should I sneak over and throw a coat of wax on it and see if he notices..... I think theres even some dried fish blood on it ...... oh the horror:fight:

My god that is a clean boat.....I have/had aspirations of a boat as clean as yours .....today we went fishing and got into a blue fish blitz.....(pictures to follow as soon as I get some rest) and we had blue fish puking bait fish all over the boat....by the end of the day the boat had dried crud and goo from bow to stern....At first all I could think about was why the hell did I just spend 3 days getting this boat clean ....but then I said ....the hell with it.

I'm sure tomorrow I will be out there scrubbing again.

You might want to talk to someone about that OCD Lumber. Sure is looking good though.

Way too many fish coming over the rails on MJ's Sea Ox earlier today to worry about clean. Fish coming over the rails, no time to worry about where they end up. Just unhook and drop them on the deck. A couple of full coolers and we're home by noon. Fish on the table for everyone with plenty more to market. Got me a belly full of fresh 'Tog and MJ's got a dirty boat. :sun:

Pretty snotty day out there, but we had lots of laughs

No feeshin today, but had a nice small gathering with good neighbor/friends. Put away a bottle of gawd awful expensive and fabulous Scotch and food fit for kings.
Glad you all had a good day too, and Lumber that dirty boat has a motor cover and I noticed the Bumkins doesn't. Makes you look bad brother:you:

Lumberslinger, that boat looks like it just came off the showroom floor!!! I also have an 87 C/C, and I love it. But I don't think mine will still hold the shine like yours does. What's your secret? Give us some tips on how to get and keep that shine..

Thanks for sharing..

Tommy:nice:

Secret??

O.K. I just had to go back and look through the pictures again! Tell the truth, those pictures were taken when the boat was brand new, right?

All of my plexi hatch covers are faded and them emblems are baerly legible. Did your find a way to redo them?

I would love to be able to bring my boat back to looking as great as yours.....!!!!:nice:

Tommy...

I was lucky when I acquired mine it was garage kept but needed a lot of tlc , I think being kept indoors the gelcoat didn't get beat up by the sun,

I like using woody wax on the interiors and mothers on the hull. and spray nine marine ....

Thanks for all the compliments but it is a lot of work.....as they say its a labor of love...
