making some headway
well i have laid down the final layer of prekote and will lightly wet sand this week so i can lay down the 1st coat of brightside (saphire blue). I will say this much prekote is some tough stuff for only being a one part. you can wipe it down with acetone and it doesnt break down.

lol and that pre kote is tough to sand lol hard as nails.

use a little more grip for better hold, i always use 80 grit on the boats i paint
oh yeah and a line sander will make the boat much straighter with less cupping, a DA will cup soft material like bondo and fiberglass. |
