Fuel tank specs 87'

Just wondering if anyone here knows how much fuel a 1987 V20 will hold. I am new to this boat and can't seem to get a straight answer from previous owner. It's not in the water yet. Thanks.

should be 60 gallons....some older models had saddle tanks but my 1986 has a 60 and I dont think they changed them.

Wellcraft site seems to be acting up but if you go to Wellcraft.com and then click on owners at the bottom you should be able to get the spec sheet on the boat with the fuel capacity.

Thanks for the quick response. Previous owner thought that it might be 60, but wasn'y sure. This is one tank, set in center on stern end of boat.

Wilson's right on the 60...some were fitted w/additional 25...one popped up here recently like that...but they are apparently rare and if you don't see any kind of switch or other control that would enable an extra tank, then count on the 60...

Welcome to the board...post up some pictures...we likey pictures!!...

The Wellcraft site may be acting up, but this info is in our own galleries. Check the history section for the V20 specs album.

Unless someone replaced the tank at some point........mine only had a 28 gal tank when I got it.
