I hope they didnt ,,the weihgt of the foam that i took out from around the tank was water loged and very heavy..if he whole floor has the foam i am sure it is water loged too ...my floor is solid and i don't even want to think about riping it up..... |

I've had (2) 79's. The only foam is around the tank. |

Think mine is just around the tank on my '89. I could use a new tank...don't know how much there is to it. If you replace it do you need to use more foam. around it or can you go with out? |

I was going to drill a few small holes to see if there is foam in the rest of the floor but after reading some of the posts i think its safe to say that wellcraft only used the foam around the fuel tank........poengine33 |

Mine is 84, foam around the tank only. By the way, last time I looked at the entire tank, noticed that the foam was forming a little wall at the aft center top area, where the water drains out from the top of the tank. I removed all the foam from the aft rear top edge, and now water just flows out to the bilge. |

I also remember that I removed the port side chair base, because the floor roted and could not support the seat anymore, and to cover the hole, I cut the floor and installed a 10" rectangular floor hatch, so the bilge there could be used as storage. I found no foam at all in that area. |
