Boat VIN Numbers
 

Hi ..looking at all the wellcraft v20 vin numbers that are stamped on the transom,,do the last 2 meam the year ,,

Post the numbers.
On mine the last three are V20.
Yes by almost all accounts the last two numbers are the year, and it's the HID numbers.

that's not part of your hin that's the model type the last 2 are your yr.

Thank MJ for finding that thread, there are some variations as to the model and year in the HID numbers.
As skools pointed out V20 is not part of the HID number.
In the case of my boat they imprinted V20 directly inline with the 12 digit HID number. Most have it below the number.
Also mine is not the last 2. Instead of being the 11th and 12th, it's the 10th and 11th.
So depending on which animal you're playing with you will have some discrepancy.
