replace floor with 5/8 or 3/4

I was going to replace my boat floor with 3/4 marine ply but am concidering using 5/8 marine ply to help keep the weight down. The price difference is not the issue less than $100 differance it looks like 5/8 wood core was origonally used.Has anyone on here replaced their deck with 5/8 I dont want to regret later.
Looking for opinions????

I don't think resin will stick to pressure treated ply, use regular.

it will only if you let it dry out for months in a garage or house,

The O/P spec'd Marine Ply, not PT?

LOWES ocasionally has some AB grade 1/2" and 3/4" for reasoneable prices as well. I used AB 3/4" on my fuel hatch I recored and it is ridicuously stout after 3 layers of mat over it. Many older boats used 1/2" in the deck so 5/8" should be fine. If it is a large unsupported span then use 3/4" to avoid warping.

the V's had 1/2 the best i've found is furnture grade hardwood plywood in 1/2 it has 11 ply in 3/4 it has 15 ply.

My V has all those 8 or so inch squares of wood they used. I have never figured out why they used those little squares instead of one full sheet of wood.
