Antique fighting chair
 
Some of the jersey guys may have seen this on craigs list..... Well I bought it for 300.00 bucks I think I got a great deal , My plans are to have all the brass rechromed and have the wood dipped and stripped, And buy a pedastal for it and put in my livingroom , I have a room that it will fit rite in ,its full of antique tools and boat stuff.:clap:

I believe its got to be atleast 50-60 years old. If anyone has an input I'd love to hear it.

the guy i bought it from was 70 and he said his father had it for 40 yrs:head:

I have some frineds that make their living knowing everything there is about sport fishing, I'll see if they can identify the chair

That's pretty COOL, Slinger!!...nice find...could be Hemingway played a grander marlin from that chair...wouldn't ya like to know how it got from where it was made to where you found it...musta been quite a trip!!...:clap: ...sounds like Spare might be able to answer some of those questions...
