If only I had the money right now, I'd yank this one up. Price seems to good to be true for a PURSUIT of this size and equipment.

I think age may have something to do with that price, thoses look l9ike older Yamaha's on the back, it would be a good hull to start with, I had a 23 I/O boat that ended up being a bigger project than I wanted. Good thing is thoses boat had all glass stringers, no rot there( they did have wood transoms though)

They do look like the original 150 YAMAHAS, but they are still decent engines if they aren't rotted. PURSUITS are known for having good build quality and holding there resale value. That price really makes me wonder what's wrong with it.

I've never owned a Pursuit, but boy that looks like a low, open transom.

a friend of mine had one of those. His hull/motors were newer, mid 90's I believe, and 200 yammies. That was one nice boat, fast too. I had it out one full moon night on the Great South bay doing 50.2 mph at 4900rpm. Put a lot of big bass on the deck of that boat. He paid around 48K for it and sold it three seasons later for 52K. Not to bad.....

I knew someone with the older twin 150 Yamaha's, they got 1.7 mpg on a 25 Grady White and were reliable, or so he claimed. That price sounds low, bring a soft mallet when you go and use it with the owners permission. New bottom paint can hide a world of trouble, looks like this bottom paint is worn so maybe you can see problems. I came close to buying a 25 Bertram w/o motors for $5 grand, it had a fresh coat of bottom paint. Thankfully I spotted a bent rudder and shaft in the weeds and found the boat had been dropped to dry land from slings. They had piled up the new blue bottom paint thick to cover the dents and 15' of crack down the keel.

I'm thinking that the boat market is getting pretty soft down here because these too good to be true deals are popping up every day.

Try finding one of these for under $20K running.

You are right, I've got to remember you're in Florida. We rode the bike to Key West in the spring of 05', could hardly watch the road for the beautiful water and beautiful boats. Could have stayed forever, except the only thing cheap down there is boats.....

Ferm knows his boat and i don't think we need to tell him about the rubber or leather hammer deal with boats lol. I bet between Ferm and I bet we've beatin on almost every brand boat built lol
