Flitz
I found a new compound to take the oxidation off the fiberglass and bring up the shine - it is called Flitz - I am impressed with it and easy to apply. Made my old fiberglass look 20 years younger

I've never heard of or seen Flitz, is it found in boat shops or supermarkets? It seems most of these good products come and go, I'd found that a product called PROTEC FIBERGLASS SEALANT would last all season, the gel coat really stayed white and shiny. Now I haven't been able to find the product around here in years. It's really hard to keep a white boat from turning yellow around here if the gelcoat doesn't have a good sealer.

Flitz has been around for a long time...GREAT STUFF!!...for metal and fiberglass...great cleaning product, but if a SEALER is needed, hard to outrun wax and elbow grease:clap: |
I saw it on Shipshape tv last summer. It looked like good stuff. Did you buy the kit with the applicator and all? Have you tried it on eisen glass and aluminum trim?

It'll work wonders on the aluminum, but I'd have to read the label again and maybe call 1-800-FLITZ before rubbin' it on eisenglass...there are some excellent eisenglass cleaners and scratch removers out there... |
are you a fisherman or a dock jockey?? forget about all this shinny stuff and just fish!! Fish no care what the boat looks like!
Next thing he will be hanging pink tassels from the antenna!:head: |
