Fishing on hte Poacher back On
 

Our Feb-4 trip was cancelled due to the freezing water temp, Good call by the Captn the rest of the fleet fished the 2 days before that and since the 4th and haven't caught chit. We're going Feb 13 (Friday the 13th My favorite day) I've normally had great luck if I did something on Friday the 13 whatever the month.

The Poacher is going up to Reidville after he leaves Rudee for strippers when they go back up the Chesapeake Bay. He said it great fishing up there.

I may try that also.

I heard that he went out of business but I guess that was not true. Last year he got busted fishing over the three mile line so he is willing to go after the fish. LOL

The trip was called off for the 2nd time due to weather (wind), were going to try again 2/26.

Yep normally, some big spot & croker, if you want let me know what week you'll be here and I'll bring the V down there and we'll do some bottom fishing. I'm only about 50 minutes from there.

You guys should come down to Hatteras on memorial day weekend for an offshore V run. Had good luck on the mahi the past 2 years. Will try again this year.

We caught 37 fish that day but none to keep. We were 8 miles off the beach. I did catch a 40lber. Twice we had 5 on at same time. If you go to the Poacher web site it has a couple of pics for 2/26. I'll post some pics I took later.
