Mooring Cover - Looking For
 

Hi.

Just got our first V-20. Beauty boat! It's an '85 with a Merc 150. Very well taken care of with one owner. I am looking for a mooring cover for it. Any ideas of the best place to shop - new or used.

Like to share a photo, but don't know how to load. Any ideas?

Welcome aboard MadMax. ;) Dont know of any used one's for sale. They are mostly custom made to fit.

Yo Max!!...jump on in here!!...look around your area ... go to marinas and boat-shops...talk w/ people about who does good canvas work...DON'T get inna hurry and take the one says he can get to it right away ::) ...ask me how I know??... :P ... check out his past work ... and be VERY SPECIFIC about what you want ... Murphy's Law works 24/7 ...

I see you have snaps down the side of your boat. You can get a cockpit cover made to fit your existing snaps for $200-$250. Mine fits great.

Good looking boat there. Did it come with the original camper top ? Mines an '86 with the camper top, and a mooring cover. Problem is - the person who made the mooring cover ... moved the snaps around on the front windshield .... so now the camper top doesnt line up correctly with the snaps. Just something to watch for if you have teh same situation. Where in CT did you score the boat ? I live in northern CT myself. If you dont mind me asking - where in Vt are you ... and what lake(s) do you plan on running the V on ?
