Trailer for V21????
I am working a deal on a V21 right now... It does not come with a trailer. The dealer has located a trailer that is for a 23 foot boat but seems to think it can be adjusted for a 21 ft.
The question I have is... it is a roller style trailer instead of a bunk trailer. The two boats that I have owned were both bunk style trailers. Any thoughts for or aganist this for a V21? |
For all the boats I have I like the bunk with the center rollers.

trailer will depend on your ramps, If you have a lot of shallow water rollers are nice, if you have deep water bunks are nice.
I live in Mass and I have a mix of deep water and low water and love roller trailers. 23 trailer should work, all they do is move the stop back some and then it is easy to adjust traile axles to equal the weight. |
I just bought a 2008 bunk style trailer replacing a single axel roller trailer and I like it dosent leave unsightly marks on the hull.

thanks for the response... think I will go with the bunk style... especially since that is what I use to having...
I am assuming it would be best to get one with brakes as well, correct? |
If you have a bunk trailer like mine, get those poly covers for the carpeted bunks. With them on you better keep the boat hitched just like rollers because it will slide off if not. I've had them on several other bunk trailers and they are great especially for shallow water areas. I'm getting a set this week I hope and putting them on. I'll take pics as I install and put up here.

Trailers with breaks are great till they don't work anymore!! Most states will requirfe you to get one with breaks after a weight limt.

Good lookin trailer there Lumber. I have the exact same one (I think), but it is a 2002 model. It has served me very well thus far.

I'm more impressed with the new engine... How much is one of those in this economy?
