Boat LAUNCH
A while back my buddy who has his boat on Lake Hartwell was runnin' between the channel markers in 58' of water when his boat LAUNCHED into the air, kickin' the motor all the way outta the water...I'm talkin' about a 24' Everglades w/a 250 Verado that went airborne!!...that was several months back...w/the continuing drought conditions we're having around here and the lake continuing to drop (now 23' below pool) this is a more recent shot of that same stump...when he hit it, it was 1/2" under the surface...no way he coulda seen it comin'...

And reel, what about the day's events in the V??
That's all we get the starboard side rodholder, with an ambassador reel?? |
we have more water then we knoiw what to do with, get the pipe line going and we will send it down!!
And I agree cut that stump down now!! |
Somebody def. needs to chainsaw that quick like!! Reel thats a trip about Hartwell being so dry. I drove by on the way to Atlanta 2 weeks ago and could not believe it. High Rock lake went through the same a while back. Fish are just now recovering.

Ya know, I would cut the stump...but at this point they're sayin' it could drop to as far as 35' below full pool...that would mean another 12' of that thing'd be stickin' outta the water...
Keep in mind, when the lake is full the top of that thing is 15' below the surface...right now, it's better to be able to SEE the damm thing... ...and tsubaki...those Ambassador's are about all we use for live-baitin'...that day we caught several nice ones up to about 10-12 lbs |
