what a disaster!!
My daughter comes up from the basement and says something died down there??
I go down there and someone knocked the plug to the freezer out, and about 50 pounds of Fluke, 25 Pounds of Tuna steaks, and a 20 pound Turkey all melted in this blood bath at the bottom of the freezer!!!:cen::cry: We got everything all cleaned up, but now there is no fish for the winter!!! It could have been worse as in a year when I fish the whole season I would have triple that much fish saved!! Wow going to be a long winter with no fish to eat :cry::cry: |
that really stinks mj find out who did it and keel hole them........:bat:
|
Asked them all and everyone says it wasn't me?? I will never know, just have to blame the cat I guess.
|
Man that SUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate it when that happens, did once to me.
Plan a trip to North Carolina or Florida to replenish. And kill the cat!:bat: |

You probably did it yourself ya numbskull. You've been down there moving everything around in that corner of the basement. :bat: |
Sorry to hear about your bad news MJ. CB be nice to your buddy or he won't let you work on his boat! Billy Mac

No it wasn't the cat, I am guessing that the plug fell out from its own weight. It plugs in up at the ceiling, I was going to go down tghere and staple it up and forgot. So I guess it was my bad :cen:
The turkey is what made the real mess, as all fish was vac sealed. |
same thing happened to my deep freeze full of three deer worth of venison. I feel your pain, mine was a mystery plug pull to

I lost about 25 pints of scallops a couple of years ago. broke my heart. i thought about inventing a defrost alarm, like a smoke alarm, that is battery powered. if the internal temp gets above 25*, a loud horn sounds. i know some freezers have them, but they are powered by the plug, so in you case no good.
sorry for you loss |
