I need Help
Ive been trying to e=-mail pics out of windows live but keep getting this error
Unable to send or receive messages for the Comcast (kenkennardtradingascsk) account. The connection to the server has failed. Server: 'comcast.net' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E Protocol: POP3 Port: 110 Secure(SSL): No Socket Error: 10061 Any help would be great |
Just a guess but I think most cable ISPs use SMTP on the outgoing server, not POP.

POP 3 in, SMTP out, but I'd call Comcast tech support. I had my email go dead, and needed to reset the incoming and outgoing Port numbers - I'd NEVER have figured it out on my own. Another thing that's pretty obvious with a Windows machine (I mention it, because I forgot to do it) is to reboot the computer (that solved a nasty email problem more than once).

Till you speak with comcast just hit attachments and att as a file it will be fine, or just open a free yahoo account and forget comcast.
When i had comcast i hated most of there stuff and never used it. |
I'd check the valve clearance and the timing.
Sorry, I am compooter stupid. |
I wish I knew enough about computers to help ya!!

Check your connection addresses ie mail pop,isp or chance reloading software to elimanate conflict problems..
