Hello old friend!
This may not interest hardly any of you, but I thought it was neat how things can come about full circle.
The V I got, was my grandfathers bought new in 1975, it changed quite a few hands (even my fathers) before accidentally finding its way to me less than 3 years ago. My father worked for a local auto dealership, one of the benefits was the occasional use of their parts delivery truck. He would on occasion use it to pull the boat to the ramp. I bought the truck 11 years ago as a third vehicle, used it about 6 years. Well it had been sitting for about 5 years till this summer, I decided to try to sell it. I got no takers, put new tires on it , no takers, even painted it, you guessed it no takers. Figured, might as well use it to pull the V to the ramp on occasion. First time they have been together in over 21 years!! http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/truck002.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/truck001.jpg |
 Nice. Probably could have filled'em both back then for what it cost to fill just the truck now.
