Another OMC question

Just wondering if any one knows a if I can use a newer style OMC trim tilt unit on a 1972 65 HP Johnson outboard? It's difficult to find the older trim tilt units of that vintage anymore and I want to upgrade.

I don't think you can without swapping out the clamp bracket at the same time.
