"WASHINGTON - More than 10,000 people have signed an online petition urging the Army to let an Iraqi puppy come home with a Minnesota soldier, who fears that "Ratchet" could be killed if left behind."

Thanks, cy. It just seems like a nice thing for her to do, and a small way to thank her and other soldiers for their service. You might not believe the nasty responses I've got on other forums for posting this, telling me it's just a freaking dog and to get over it, that sort of stuff. It's not like I'm begging folks to sign it, or asking for them to send money.

Being the animal lover myself, iI just sent this to at least a dozen people. Its the minimum we could do for this soldier.

Yup, I signed on the line. I love dogs and appreciate when I see one go to a good and truthfully caring owner.
