This alternator is a take off from a brand new engine. It was taking off a 2003 Mercruiser 7.4L engine, but should fit any Mercruiser V8, including the 5.0, 5.7 and 4.3L V6. I also have the original BBC mounting bracket for another $20. It has been sitting in my basement ever since it was taken off the engine. These alternators retail for $420 from Mercruiser, and the bracket is another $90. $100 takes it -- first come, first serve. 774-930-0739
