Dolphin or porpoise?

on the beach in rehobeth, i saw a small pod of dolphin swim by.
about 20-30 yards off the beach.
black backs with a pretty large dorsal.
never saw their faces.

porpoise are generally smaller and more stout.

Porpoise are in fact small dolphin. Very good Chuck. I don't think you're gay. You're a Flake, but not Gay.

They are dolphin.

They come up into the De bay and if you drift,
you can pull up right along side of them
and watch the show.

They will jump up around the boat spin turn and splash.
The adults are about ten feet long.
