update on tx coast

ike has passed, was at port aransas tx. about 30 miles north of corpus on sun. keep my sportfish in water there. she made it fine. my 20 is kept in storage shed there and no problems. surge was about 4-5 ft. galveston was slammed as well as clear lake adjacent to galveston. many people are homeless and boats everywhere. i feel for the people staying here in austin hotels, for local law does not want anyone to return to galveston for theres no elec no nothing. may be a month or two before getting back to some what normal. help and support is underway and may god bless those and there loved ones.
