Jet Ski Questions

I thinking of buying a 96 polaris with a motor that needs rebuit/replaced. The owner said that it started losing power at the end of the season last year. They took it to a dealer said they need a new motor. It may have flipped and got water in it. Crank does spin and is not seized. I can get the ski cheap but was wondering if the engine is rebuildable..............Any thoughts?

sbt on the web.com

i dont remember if it was the polaris or tigersharks that had the 3cyl problem with the last carb not getting enough fuel. sbt makes a kit for that problem that adds a fuel pump to the system. but either way they have pretty good prices and great customer service.

I had an older Polaris...my biggest problem was finding someone to work on it...if you can get it FREE, it MIGHT be a good deal:sleep:

get it free cut a hole in it and plant flowers in it. Only buy Yamaha for Jet Ski's.
