Maybe someone can save this boat...

http://cnj.craigslist.org/boa/773226209.html

In my search for my first V-20 I went and looked at this one. It has a dark blue gelcoat hull. Pulled up to the house and could just picture it buffed out. Almost no damage at all to the outside......Then the bad news....floors going soft.... seats ruined....moldy...just a sad state . Another year or 2 in his driveway and it may be a total loss. Has an 8 cylinder mercruiser i/o didnt get the model number . claimed new manifolds and risers (they did look new) but said it wont start because of problem with EFI. Way too much work for me with my limited engine knowledge but man I think that blue hull would look awesome! Maybe someone is interested in a project.

By the way looks like I will buy on Sunday and 1986 with 150 yamaha. Will send pics!!

Yes it sure does....and thanks for the welcome randleman. I think people believe boats are made of stone or something and will last forever in the elements. Theres a guy that keeps his boat at his business down the street from me....completely open with a cuddy (no door on it) and the thing is backed up on to a hill with bow pointed down. I know there must be a foot of water sitting in the bow. Makes you just want to pull on up and ask him what he's thinking.

People like that do not deserve to own a boat.
