I not saying anything cause I was thinking the same on mine? But it will be easier for me.

THEFERMANATOR 07-07-2008 02:00 AM

AWWW, how cute. You guys got motor scooters. Do they match?:you:

chumbucket 07-07-2008 03:38 AM

No, I have a cycle, MJ doesn't. He wants one after seeing mine. My brother has a Gold Wing that MJ is interested in buying, so we'll see how that plays out.
Mine isn't a V20, but it's at least a V-Twin. We're gonna start a geezers scooter club. Wild Hogs II. MJ's biker chick already wants to show her t!ts at Bike Week next year. :you::beer:

Very nice CB!

I love to ride...just not in the cards for me right now. I sold the last couple bikes I had 5 or so years ago. What model GW is he lookin at? I had a MINT 1100 Aspencade me and my dad did a frame up resto on. Ill see if I can dig up some pics...

macojoe 07-07-2008 04:40 PM

I don't have the details yet on the bike, I waiting to hear from CB.

I will be the Wild Hog that hits everything! LOL

Mine has saddle bags, and I am sure there will be a easy way for the rod holders on that!!

chumbucket 07-07-2008 05:39 PM

It is an 1100 Aspencade GW. I'm still waiting on my brother to make up his mind.

turbinedoctor 07-08-2008 06:41 PM

In case you haven't noticed yet, there are two rod holders installed on your bike. They are the horizonal pipes low to the ground on the right side. When used as transportation they automacticlly eject unused rods for safety.

Nice bike Chum.

As to MJ's bike, I dont think they make one to carry that much bull at one time, he may have to make two trips, maybe even three. :hide:

nice dog chumbo.
i had the exact same bike but 30 years older.
sold it to buy my wife an engagement ring.

chumbucket 07-08-2008 09:16 PM

I've had quite a few off and on over the years as well. This one sat in a co-workers barn for two years since he bought a new custom chopper. I've wanted another bike for a while and he was anxious to get it out of the barn for a price that couldn't be turned down.
It's a 1998 Softail Custom. Looks pretty much stock, but is anything but. Nice riding scooter. And @ 50 mpg ain't bad either.

charlie_the_tuna 07-08-2008 10:36 PM

no sh!t. looks alot newer. i had a 77 lowrider with a wideglide front end and a panhead.
kicker, of course.
20 inch apes, barhopper saddle and shotgun pipes.
never owned an electric start.

C YENSEN 07-09-2008 08:48 AM
