The new and improved REEF flip flops have excellent arch support as well as a convient bottle opener (mmmmmmmmmmbeer) on the bottom. Leaving me with truely "Happy Feet"

I tried on a friend's worn out crocs the other day. Man they felt comfy. I gotta have some.

I'm with FERM, barefoot.
I hate shoes even in winter, 0 degrees outside, snow on the ground and flip flops to take the dog out. The CEO biatches at me all the time for walking around the house in bare feet. |
Bare feet are the best way to go, but the boat deck and the dock get mighty hot in the South in the summertime. I have a few old beat up pairs of boat shoes from Bass and LL Bean -- they've been in the water enough that they're molded to my feet. Mighty comfortable.
|
i wear L.L. Beam Deck and Dock shoes love em.
|
Docksiders or bare-toed in summer and Rockports in winter...
|
Raindow flip flops, untill I get on the boat, then it's naked souls for me!. They have great arch support, and they mold to your feet so after about 2 months they will only fit your feet! The only problem is since they are leather they have a tendancey to leave a nice brown thong line on your feet if they get really wet.

Crocs. Once you try a pair on you won't give a crap how bad they look. I am going on my second pair and still love them. Only downside is they seem to track a lot of dirt into the boat.

funny story about Crocs, about four years ago a guy who used to work with us, started his own business and started wearing dock side work clothes rather than sales cloths. He stopped by the office one day wearing a pair of bright orange Crocs. we had never seen any before, could figure out why anyone would want to wear a pair of such ugly shoes. This guy went on and on about how comfortable they were to wear, we gave him a ration of ragging about his shoes. It was Friday afternnon, adn the sales guy I work with and myself were having a 5:00 cold beer, our buddy with the shoes dropped by, when the sales guy said, hey I like those shoes, "so how long did the doctor tell you, you had to wear them?" I had about half a beer going down, when i heard the comment, it came back up thru my nose in a mix of laughter, and coughing, spraying over at least three people, I had never heard that joke before. Pretty funny, needless to say, after all the hard times we gave this guy over his Crocs, we couldn't chance ever getting caught wearing a pair

I tryed them, I did not like them, took back to the store.

Crocs all the way during the summer. Two things I have run into; they wear out on the bottom before you would expect them too and hence get slippery in wet conditions, and the funny one for my kids they leave sun tan circles on my feet no matter how much lotion I put on.
My girls have nick named them...are you ready?... CROC CIRCLES :hi: Ok it's corny but at least my 10 and 14 year still talk to me and actually like to go fishing with their dad! CT |
Ain't as pretty as Stinks
But they are functional and cheap (and leave sunburn circles)

The name of these shoes, "Figawi II" comes from a race from Hyannis, Ma to Nantucket. I love the origin of the name.....comes from some of the first sailors in the race stated "Where the F**k are we?" when they ran into fog along the race. For politeness, it was changed to "Figawi". |
Whoever started this thread is an out of the closet homosexual.
